Mulled Wine Flavored Coffee is a vibrant, spicy coffee with the atmosphere of a winter drink and a warm evening. The aroma and flavor reveal fruity notes reminiscent of red berries and grapes, while the finish reveals notes of clove, cardamom, and cinnamon. The profile is warming, rich, and very festive, yet completely alcohol-free. This coffee is for those who love spices, warm aromas, and an unusual finish.
The base of the blend is 100% Arabica beans from Brazil and Colombia. The Brazilian beans impart softness and roundness, while the Colombian beans add balance and a more vibrant flavor profile. This allows the spicy aroma to develop cleanly and harmoniously, while the natural coffee flavor remains deep and rich.
How we make flavored coffee
We roast the beans, and then immediately after roasting, while they are still hot and the pores are open, we add food-grade flavoring. The aroma penetrates the beans and is locked in using our proprietary technology. This ensures that the finished beans are not coated in oil or film; they remain clean and dry, yet still release a vibrant aroma during grinding and brewing.
This coffee can be brewed using any method: V60, filter coffee, or in an espresso machine.
When you drink the finished drink, you experience the natural flavor of the coffee, followed by a spicy aftertaste with cloves, cardamom, and cinnamon, with a slight fruity note.
